Florin Funeral Service is committed to providing whatever care and assistance families might need after the death of a loved one. We believe that
such care and assistance is needed not just during the funeral preparation,
visitation, and service but during the weeks and months afterward when others
have resumed their normal lives.
To better serve our families after the funeral, a special Aftercare Program has
been developed to offer such services as providing information and assistance
regarding all the many legal details such as Social Security, insurance claims,
estates, wills and veterans affairs - that must be taken care of following a death.
Reading materials, short-term counseling and a "listening ear" are also offered
to assist those who desire and need help in dealing with their grief. In addition, a lending library containing books and literature and audio-visual
resources concerning grief and bereavement, as well as information about various support groups and longer-term specialized counseling, is made
available to interested persons. When desired, information concerning funeral
pre-planning can be provided. |
