Devon Allen joined Florin Funeral Services staff in October, 1999 as our Director for the Aftercare Program and Bereavement Resource Center. Devon's background includes serving the United Church of Christ and United Methodist churches as pastor for several years. He has also worked as a counselor, program coordinator and director at two vocational rehabilitation facilities and as a social worker with two foster care agencies. Other responsibilities and activities have included serving as a parish chaplain for a local community church and as a volunteer chaplain at Watervliet Community Hospital.

Devon received his Masters Degree in Education in 1976 and his Master Divinity Degree in 1968.
