Emma "Sue" Faultersack

Emma Suzanne “Sue” Faultersack, 81, of Benton Harbor, passed away Monday afternoon, October 11, 2010, at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 14, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, 1053 E. Napier Ave., in Benton Harbor with Pastor Mark Manning officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.florin.net. Sue was born October 13, 1928, in Bainbridge Township, MI to Lester and Marie Wycoff. She married Al Faultersack on February 28, 1948 and enjoyed 63 happy years together. Sue retired in 1973 from the VM Corp. She enjoyed going to the VFW for the Friday Night Fish Fry and Bingo. Sue enjoyed outdoor activities including camping and deer hunting with her husband, boat riding, fishing at Swan Lake, and mushroom hunting in the spring. Her specialties were making cookies, fudge and banana bread at holiday time. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. Sue is survived by her children, Cynthia (Jim) Still of Utah, Sandra (George) Vertz of Berrien Springs, and Gary (Denise) Faultersack of Covert; grandchildren, Michael Still, Lori (Jon) Groth, Noka (Harvey) Yates, Tonika (Nathan) Swagart, Lisa (Ryan) Norden, and Jennie (Richard) Faultersack; great-grandchildren, Heather Still, Kristopher and Jason Yates, Tyler Vertz, Thaddeus Swagart, Dakota Groth, Seth Faultersack, and Kayla Westberry; great-great-grandson, Aydan Garton; brothers, Larry (Diann) Wycoff, Jerry Wycoff, Lloyd (Connie) Wycoff, and John (Pat) Wycoff; brother-in-law, Harold Lewis; long time neighbors, Pat and Bernice Barry; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death on Sept. 24, 2010 by the love of her life, “Al” Faultersack; her sisters, Edith Lewis, Peg Cadwell, Elizabeth West, and Joyce Rochefort; brothers, Raymond Wycoff and Bob Wycoff; sisters-in-law, Holly Wycoff and Marcella Wycoff; and brother-in-law, Marty Cadwell.
