Lucille Clark.Vyzral, 97, of Stevensville went home to her heavenly Father on Monday, October 20, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. Services celebrating her life will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, Oct 24, at the Stevensville United Methodist Church, 5506 Ridge Road, in Stevensville with Rev. Gordon Barry officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, at the Dey-Florin Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in St. Joseph. Lucille was born in the home of her parents Nelson and Mable Clark in Eau Claire on May 27, 1917. She married Joseph Vyzral in Chicago on August 10, 1935. He preceded her in death in 2011. Together they celebrated 76 years of marriage. They have lived in Stevensville for 54 years in the home that they built. Lucille was employed by Whirlpool for 11 years. She was a volunteer for Mercy Hospital and for Grace EUB Church in Benton Harbor. She also volunteered as secretary for the United Methodist Church and as a treasurer and member of board of directors of St. Joseph Senior Center. She retired from Tri County Bookkeepers after 15 years. She was a longtime member of the Stevensville United Methodist Church and a member of Southwest Rose Society for 15 years. She was an avid quilt maker through her 90s. All of her quilts were done by hand. She gave them away to her family members and friends. She loved sewing, reading, gardening and her family, especially her loving husband. Lucille’s faith in God sustained her throughout her life. She was always giving to others and was loving and supportive of her family. She will be missed by her close neighbors and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Pinkston of Lapeer, MI; her 4 grandchildren, Wade (Helen) Whitaker, Dan Whitaker, Craig (Nancy) Whitaker, and Carri (Chris) Ormiston; her 9 great-grandchildren; her 2 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Irving (Viola) Clark; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Whitaker; a granddaughter, Jodi Kohn; great granddaughter, Erica Kohn; a sister, Rosemary Andrasi; and a brother, Nelson "Buddy" Clark, Jr.
