Adeline “Addie” Wutzke, 89, of Coloma, died on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre in Benton Harbor. Services celebrating her life will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, Jan 6, at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Cremation will take place following the service and final burial will be in Coloma Cemetery. Visitation with Addie’s family will begin at 2 PM on Tuesday at the Davidson Chapel. Addie was born on June 3, 1925 in Sister Lakes to Charles and Alvina Wilson. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. She was the first woman school bus driver for Coloma and she drove for 18 years retiring in 1972. She worked as a volunteer at Watervliet Community Hospital for several years and delivered meals to the homebound for Senior Nutrition Service for several years. Addie was a hard worker and enjoyed socializing with everyone. She was a fun loving grandmother. She is survived by her son, Toby (Mary) Wutzke of Coloma; her sister, Lorraine DeJonge of Holland, MI; her 4 grandchildren, Karen (Brian) Lefon of Coloma, Chuck (Jeanine) Wutzke of Sodus, Rhonda (Dennis) Mort of Covert and Jon Wutzke of Coloma; her 9 great-grandchildren; and her 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Hank” Wutzke in 1966 and a great-grandson Jacob Mort in 1997.
