Benjamin "Ben" Flowers, 33, of Benton Harbor died at his home on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Services celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 18, at the Blue Roof Church at 3084 Niles Road in St. Joseph. The visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday at the Blue Roof Church. Cremation will follow the service and burial of the ashes will be at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Lincoln Township. Please leave messages, memories or photos at www.florin.net. Ben was born on June 12, 1981 in Berrien Center to Allan and Grace Flowers. He married the love of his life, Brooke, in St. Joseph. Ben was a sales representative for Pepsico. He was a well known DJ and had worked in the construction industry. Ben graduated from Lakeshore High School and attended Evangel University in Springfield, MO. He enjoyed numerous sporting activities including golf, softball and basketball, but Ben's passion was for football. He was also a member of The Force, a semi-pro football team that won a national championship. He loved getting together with his friends and had many good times with them. Ben was a compassionate, outgoing and determined individual who cared about everyone he came in contact with. Ben loved his family and was the best dad. He is survived by his wife, Brooke; his children, Wes and Kamy; his parents, Allan and Grace Flowers of Stevensville; his grandparents, Glen and Fritz Flowers of Benton Harbor and his brother, Brandon Flowers, of St. Joseph.
