Betty J. Biastock, 91, of Benton Harbor/Coloma died Monday, May 16,2022, at Woodland Terrace in Coloma, surrounded by all 4 kids. Services celebrating her life will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, July 16,2022, at Florin Funeral Home, 1053 E. Napier in Benton Harbor. The family will receive friends and relatives from 1 PM to 3 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and burial of the ashes will be at North Shore Memory Gardens. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Memorials may be made to Steve Barsuhn - Biblical Ministries Worldwide, 1010 Oak Drive, Brigham City, UT 84302. Steve grew up with the Biastock children at Calvary Bible Church and was supported by Betty his whole ministry. She grew up in Coloma, married Dawayne Biastock on 9/10/1950 and together they celebrated 69 years of marriage. She dedicated her life to serving her family and friends! She loved to share with others how much she loved God. She taught all ages of Sunday School and ladies Bible studies for 35+ years. She loved to bake, journal, write letters and send cards (with inspirational clippings inside)! Her family includes Kenneth (Ellen) Biastock of Benton Harbor, Janet Ambrose of Marseilles lL, Richard (Sandy) Biastock of Simpsonville SC, Karol (Jeff) Cochran of Muscatine lA and Vicki (Ed) Millsap of Omaha NE; 10 fantastic grandchildren and 15 of the greatest and cutest greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers-Alwyn "Bill" Miller, Allan Miller, James Miller, 3 Sisters-Madeline Schlender, Virginia Shockley, Nadine Deitrich, her husband and son-in-law, Michael Ambrose. Betty's testimony (written April 1994) "The Word of God is so very precious - to think that God speaks to us and shares His plans and desires with us. He gives strength, hope, healing, encouragement and whatever the need might be. And one day we will see Him face to face and be with Him forever (Somelimes I get SO anxious!). l've found over the years that prayer is by far the most important ministry we can have. lt is such a privilege; that we can come boldly before a Holy God and He will hear and answer our prayers."
