Candice R. Davis, 54, of Benton Harbor died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her home. Services celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 7, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Fairplain Chapel. Memorials in her memory may be given to the family. Please share memories, messages or photos at www.florin.net. Candice was born September 5, 1957 in Redwood City, CA to Ronald and Peggy Smith. She had been employed at Harding’s in Coloma. She enjoyed crocheting and everyone who met her always liked her. Candice’s life evolved around her children and her grandchildren and she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Sara (David Jackson) Zavoral, Dawn (Randy Allen) Zavoral, and Rebecca (Joshua Admave) Zavoral. all of Benton Harbor; her brothers, Richard (Brenda) Smith of CO, Brett (Crystal) Smith of Benton Harbor and Bruce (April) Smith of Rolling Prairie, IN; her sister, Rhonda Smith of Loveland, CO; her grandchildren, Kendrick, Grace, Carly, KaLynn, Kenya, and R. J. and her best friend, Joseph Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Kenneth Stutzman.
