Dennis "Denny" Kessinger Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dennis “Denny” Kessinger, 63, of Benton Harbor went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, Nov 6, at the Safe Harbor Church of God of Prophecy, 3552 S. Pipestone Road, Sodus. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus Township. The visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Safe Harbor Church of God of Prophecy. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to the family. Please share memories, messages or photos at www.florin.net. Denny was born on Jan 11, 1951 in Benton Harbor to Robert and Helen Kessinger. He married his wife, Kathy McDaniel, and together they have celebrated 35 years of marriage. Denny was employed as a truck driver for 25 years at PriMar Petroleum. He was a member of the Safe Harbor Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed hunting and watching TV. He also enjoyed singing and his favorite song to sing was “I Saw The Lord”. He had a sense of humor and loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his son, D.J. Kessinger of Benton Harbor; his sisters, Patricia Kessinger and Roberta Becker, both of Kansas and many nieces and nephews.
