March 15, 1941 - March 19, 2021
Helen Faye (Hounihan) Barnhill, 80, of Stevensville left this earthly realm on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Lincoln Township after a long battle with Emphysema/COPD. It would be wrong to say that she lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined to see it through. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quitting in Helen Faye. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. All she talked about was that she wanted to be with Jesus and her family in Heaven. Services celebrating her life will be announced at a later date and burial of her ashes will be in the family lot at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Services in Benton Township. Please share messages and memories at www.florin.net. Helen Faye was born on March 15, 1941 in Fulton, KY to O. C. and Maybelle Williams. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond L.
