James "Ott" Holly Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James “Ott” Holly, 42, of Benton Harbor and the Philippines died of a sudden heart attack on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Bacolod City in the Philippines. Services celebrating his life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 15, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor with Rev. Billie Long officiating. Funeral services and burial were held in the Philippines. Friends and relatives can call beginning at Noon on Saturday at the Fairplain Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Please share memories, messages or photos at www.florin.net. Ott was born on Nov 1, 1971 in St. Joseph to Paul and Bonnie Holly. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany with the 1st infantry division. He was a construction worker who was currently working for the Fluor Company in Afghanistan in administration. Ott loved to play softball at the Farmers Country Club. He also enjoyed traveling. Ott was a kind, spiritual, and generous man who loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn, of the Philippines; his daughters, Ariana, McKenzie, and Ashley, of the Philippines; his brothers, Paul (Diane) Holly of Benton Harbor and Tim (Carolyn) Holly of Benton Harbor; his sisters, Julie (Ron) Bates of Bridgman and Cindy (Leon) Lucker of Battle Creek; and his many nieces and nephews. Ott was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Rick Holly, and his sisters, Carla Sirk and Ronda Glisson.
