Jean Gustafson, 80, of St. Joseph passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov 23, 2012 at the Royalton Manor. Services celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, Nov 27, at the Watervliet Community Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Saylor officiating. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Memorials may be made to the Church. Please share messages, memories or photos at www.florin.net. Jean was born on Apr 8, 1932 in East Liverpool, OH to Carter and Pearl Tucker. She married her husband, David Gustafson, Sr. on Aug 14, 1993. She was employed at K-Mart in the Pharmacy for many years. Jean loved to go to church and was a part of the groups that went to Israel and to Haiti. Her church was a big part of her life. Jean loved her dogs, Smoke and Scooter. She also enjoyed bowling and was an avid NASCAR fan. Jean loved to bake and cook and collect her figurines. She was a very funny and wonderful loving lady. She is survived by her husband, David; her step-sons, David Gustafson, Jr. of Benton Harbor and Curtis Gustafson of Stevensville; her sister-in-laws, Martha Tucker and Dorothy Tucker; her 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and her nieces and nephews, Terry Smith, Pam and Robin Kessler, Don Tucker, Tom Carns and Mary Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Earl Tucker and Alfred Tucker, and 2 sisters, Clara Mills and Virginia Hoover.
