Louise Dilts, 80, of Coloma died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A Mass celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, Oct 22, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Watervliet. The visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma where Prayers will be held at 5:30 PM. Louise was born on Jan 2, 1934 in Coloma to Lawrence and Jeanette Hosbein. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Bratu, in 1957 and her second husband, Mike Dilts, in 2000. Louise was the organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 45 years. She also drove the School Bus for St. Joseph Catholic School for more than 20 years. Music involved her life as she was a classical pianist and singer in addition to playing the organ. She sang in Carnegie Hall and performed in Europe. She was active in community events including being Chairman of the Glad Festival during 60’s and 70’s and Blossomtime Queen Pagents. She enjoyed flowers and flower arranging and loved her dog. Louise was an energetic strong will classy lady. She is survived by her children, Diann Silvernail of Coloma, Allen Bratu of Coloma and Brian Dilts of Kingsland, GA; her sister, Marian Hosbein of Kalamazoo; her 8 grandchildren including Jayson Haus and Lawrence Haus, and her 3 great grandchildren.
