M. Almeda Lovell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

M. Almeda Lovell, 85, formerly of Benton Township and now of Monterey, TN died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 2, 2022, at her residence in Monterey. Services celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 9, at the Apostolic Tabernacle on Greenley Ave in Benton Township. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, May 7, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Tabernacle. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net. Almeda was born on May 26, 1936, in Moro, AR to Earrott and Mary Vondran. She married her husband, Lew Lovell, on December 20, 1958, in Benton Harbor and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2015. Together they enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Almeda was a Registered Nurse and completed 3 years of college. She was a nurse at Memorial Hospital and then Lakeland Hospital for over 50 years. She was a longtime faithful member of the Apostolic Tabernacle. Almeda was a strong Christian person and a good provider for their family. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Her family includes her children, Keith (Jane) Lovell of Hartford, Paula (Brian) Abner of Monterey, TN and Kevin (Rene) Lovell of Ashland, OH; her 11 grandchildren; her 9 great-grandchildren; her 2 sisters, Hazel Huling of Devalls Bluff, AR and Betty Gibson of Grandville, MI and her brother, Wyatt Vondran of Coloma. She was preceded in death by her parents.
