Hartford - Marion “Bill” Cobb, 70, of Hartford, passed away late on Wednesday, September 5, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. Funeral arrangements celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 15, at the Dey-Florin Funeral Home, 2506 Niles Ave. in St. Joseph with Rev. Franz Brandenburg officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 until the time of the service, Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to the family. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.florin.net. Bill was born on August 20, 1942, in Little River Township, Missouri to Frank and Nadine Cobb. He had many interests including training horses and attending races at the Hartford Speedway. Most of all, Bill enjoyed time spent with his family and friends – particularly his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his children, Beth Evelyn, Stacy, and William L. Cobb; step-children, Tammy, Tina, and Danny and Rick Hernandez; sister, Bertha Groszek; step-brothers, Bob and Jimmy Forgia; step-sister, Diane Forgia; 11 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline; his son, Martin Cobb; and by step-son, Sean Hernandez; and by his brother, Eugene Cobb.
