Regina Afra Wolfe Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Niles - Regina Afra Wolfe, 82, of Niles, passed peacefully on April 6, after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born April 3, 1930 in Buffalo, New York to Warren and Martha (Vulgamore) Riley. She met the love of her life, Frederick Wolfe in 1947, and they were happily married for 55 years. Regina was a Muse of many of Fred’s paintings. They raised their family in Waynesville, Ohio. Later Regina and Fred retired to Middle Bass Island, Ohio and Lake Placid, Florida. In 2003 Regina moved to Michigan to live closer to her son, Warren. Regina worked as an assistant librarian in Ohio and later became a frame shop owner in Florida. She was actively involved and enjoyed her membership in various clubs such as American Legion, MOOSE, ELK, VFW, and Gardening Club. Regina had a great love for her dogs and also for fishing, reading, playing piano and traveling. Regina was preceded in passing by both of her daughters, Joyce and Georgia, and her husband, Fred. Regina is survived by her son, Warren (Nadia) Wolfe; her grandson, Nicholas (Jennifer) Wolfe and granddaughters, Jackie (Terry) Ridge, Carmen (David) Hoskins, Jennifer Luna, Natalie Wolfe Plevyak, Tiffany Wolfe, and Melissa (Adam) O’Mara; great grandchildren, Constance Nisonger, Paige Lynch, Riley Baker, Michael Kempton, Jonathan Barnes, Cody Wolfe, Charlie & Mackenzie Luna, Kiley Halsel, Vance Plevyak; and great great grandson, Gage Weathers. Regina will be laid to rest at LaFleur Cemetery, Middle Bass Island, Ohio in private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Regina’s name should be made to the family. Arrangements have been handled by the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, Coloma.
