Robert “Bubba” Stohrer, Jr., 70, of Benton Harbor died on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home. Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, Oct 8, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens. The visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday at the Fairplain Chapel. Memorials may be given to the family to cover expenses. Please share memories, messages or photos at www.florin.net. Bubba was born on Dec 12, 1944 in Benton Harbor to Robert, Sr. and Margaret Stohrer. He owned Fruit Belt TV and Antenna Store on M139 which his father started. He also worked at Whirlpool for 16 years. Bubba enjoyed hunting as a hobby, but his true love was working at his business. Bubba was an independent person. He is survived by his daughters, Lori (Steven) Race of Walker, MI and Lois Allen of Coloma; his sisters, Rebecca Stohrer of St. Joseph and Wanda (Ron) Eichaker of Kalamazoo; his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Darlene Tefs.
