Virginia June Ott, 93, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away peacefully at Marian Manor Heathcare in Glen Ullin, North Dakota on Friday, May 12, 2017. Graveside services and internment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, East Napier, Benton Harbor at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Memorials may be made to St. John-St. Bernard Parish Readiness Center. Arrangements are being handled by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, Benton Harbor. Please share memories, messages or photos at www.florin.net. Virginia was born August 26, 1923, in Herington, Kansas to Oscar and Minnie (Stuck) Marshall. She was united in matrimony to Rolland Lee Ott on Sept. 17, 1945, celebrating 65 years of marriage. After 30 years of employment with Imperial Printing-Jiffy Print, St. Joseph, she retired and worked part time at her family’s business, Best Creative Printing in Benton Harbor. She had a genuinely kind heart and the ability to make everyone she met feel loved. Her warm and welcoming spirit touched all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Williamson of Palmer, Alaska; son Robert (Carla) Ott of Watervliet; daughter Teresa Fisher of Mandan, North Dakota; son Jerrold Ott of Coloma; and daughter Tamara (Rick) Gorzynski of Coloma; her grandchildren: Jack (Cory), Jo Anna, Tyler (Lindsay), Tonya, Nathan (April), Shane, Lisa (Heath), Brad, Brian, Nick, Adam, Amber, and Eric; twelve great grandchildren; a special niece, Peggy Thacker along with many other special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Rolland; parents Oscar and Minnie; sister, Genevieve Knoll; brothers, Kenneth and William; and two daughters Shirley and MaryAnn.
